[Publication] Older Adults' Social Relationships and Dental Visits: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

We conducted a systematic review of existing research on the association between social relationships and access to dental care among adults aged 60+.

 

A meta-analysis of 12 studies revealed that those with weaker social relationships had a 19% lower probability of accessing dental care compared to those with stronger relationships.
